Relancering af Finn Juhl stolen model 136

Når Salone del Mobile åbner i Milano den 12. april, vil du på Onecollections stand kunne opleve en relanceret udgave af et af Finn Juhls banebrydende møbler. France stolen blev designet i 1956 for France & Søn – virksomheden, der i 1950’erne industrialiserede dansk møbelproduktion og fik Danmark på verdenskortet som designnation.

Den nye Finn Juhl "France stol" kan bestilles i træsorterne:

I forbindelse med relancering "France stolen" har forlaget VITA udgivet bogen om 'France & Søn, British Pioneer of Danish furniture'.

This is what the editor of the design magazine MOBILIA, Gunnar Bratvold, wrote about the chair:

If MOBILIA was a more lucrative concern and as a result could afford to award prizes of honour, then I would be in no doubt as to the placing of this prize in 1958. It would have gone unconditionally to architect Finn Juhl for his outstanding chair, produced by France & Søn. This chair in its simplicity, its usefulness, and it s good quality shows Finn Juhl at his best. When one adds to this, that the refined elegance is not negleted, then one can understand why Danish furniture is an article in world demand.
